Mercedes-Benz of Melbourne works hard to provide the services your vehicle needs at the appropriate time frames so it remains reliable. In an effort to streamline the process, Mercedes-Benz designed the Flexible Service System, a maintenance schedule that utilizes the module concept. It consists of two parts: Service A and Service B. To make things as easy as possible for owners, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you line up the Flexible Service System intervals with the Maintenance Service Indicator System.

Maintenance Service Indicator System

The Maintenance Service Indication System is designed to alert you as the time for your vehicle’s maintenance approaches. Beginning about one month before a service is due, you’ll start receiving reminder alerts. These alerts will identify the services needed as well as the days until it’s due.

Once the service date arrives, an alert that indicates that your due date for Service A has arrived. Not bringing your vehicle into be serviced will prompt the system to send reminder alerts that it’s past due. Additionally, your vehicle will start alerting you to the past-due status of the service by emitting a signal or a tone.

At Mercedes-Benz of Melbourne, our service center is comprised of ASE-trained technicians who use only OEM auto parts and the latest in diagnostic tools to maintain and repair your vehicle.

Service A

The Service A date should fall at the one year mark or 10,000 miles. The recommendations contained in the Flexible Service System should be consulted to determine the exact date. About every two years, or 20,000 miles, thereafter, subsequent visits to Mercedes-Benz of Melbourne should be planned to meet the recommendations within the Schedule A maintenance plan. Mercedes-Benz has developed these maintenance recommendations for its vehicles for model years 2009 and later.
